Terms & Conditions for Online Purchases

1. Scope & acceptance

By placing an order you accept these Terms and our policies (Privacy, Shipping, Cancellation, Grievance). These terms apply to purchases on our website and when we act as the seller on third-party marketplaces.

2. Product nature & descriptions

  • Products are handmade from tree-free/ agro-fibres. Minor variations in colour, texture, print alignment and finish are normal and do notconstitute defects.

  • Product images are representative; dimensions/weights are provided on product pages. If a product is described as “custom” or “made-to-order”, lead times will be explicitly shown.

3. Orders, price & payment

  • Prices are in INR and include applicable GST unless stated. Shipping charges appear at checkout.

  • Full payment is required at order placement. We use certified third-party payment gateways and do not store card numbers on our servers.

4. Shipping & delivery

  • Shipping times are estimates (shown at checkout). Peela Patang is not liable for delay due to carrier, public holidays, strikes, force majeure, or incorrect address supplied by the buyer.

  • Customers must provide accurate shipping details. If carrier returns the shipment due to incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, re-shipping cost will be payable by the buyer.

5. Returns, replacements and repairs — lawful exceptions

  • No Returns / No Exchanges Policy: Except as required by applicable law (e.g., if a product is delivered damaged, materially different from description, or inherently unsafe), we do not accept returns or exchanges because our goods are handmade and bespoke in finish.

  • Damaged/Defective on Delivery: If an item is received physically damaged or materially defective, notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photos and order details. On verification, we will either (at our election) replace, repair, or refund the purchase price. The buyer must not discard the product until inspection (where requested).

  • Proof of damage/defect and original packaging may be required for claims.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours after placement or before dispatch. Once the product is shipped, cancellation is not permitted.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after cancellation is accepted.

7. Intellectual property

  • All product designs, artwork, photos and content on the site are owned or licensed by Nav Yuj Pvt. Ltd. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

8. Limitation of liability

  • Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order. We are not liable for indirect/consequential loss, except as mandated by law.

9. Dispute resolution

Parties shall attempt amicable resolution; failing which disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
